Join us an upcoming event jointly hosted by UDINZ, and new member, Auckland Transport which will focus on the interplay between Public Transport & Urban Development and in particular, the implications from the growth in frequent public transport across Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland - and the impact that has on people’s transport patterns and lifestyles.

This lunchtime event will help you gain a better understanding of the public transport network and how it serves development sites across the city in Auckland, and how that network has changed and grown in the past 8 years.

Why is this of an interest to you? What will you learn? The event is designed to help you:

  • Understand how land use across Auckland can be accessed by public transport.
  • Identify the areas where Public Transport use in Auckland has the potential to grow.
  • Understand more on how to better advocate for and support public transport / land use integration.

This event is a “brown paper bag” lunchtime event - a chance to quickly make some connections and learn a little more about the Auckland Frequent Transport Network -  all during your lunch break!  (you bring your own lunch with you or pick up a sandwich on the way).

Our speaker: Pete Moth
Pete is Head of Public Transport Services Planning and Development at Auckland Transport and is responsible for shaping public transport to deliver a city that works for its residents and visitors alike.
